soo.. i have never played guitar but how in the heck are you supposed to read those kind of chord charts?
First of all those chords are written upside down.
The chords for the song are E minor C G and a modified D chord.
The E string is the lowest sounding one on the guitar, It is generally the top of the guitar, but read at the bottom of the chord chart. The A is next, followed by D, G, B and e which is the highest sounding string.
For the first chord, E minor,
you simply put your index and middle finger on the A and D string respectively at the 2nd fret. You also put your ring finger on the B string at the 3rd fret and do the same with your pinky on the E string, 3rd fret. The chord chat looks like this
E minor
e 3
B 3
G 0
D 2
A 2
E x <- the x means you do not strum this string!
So it is Eminor C G D modified
e 3 3 3 3
B 3 3 3 3
G 0 0 0 2
D 2 2 0 0
A 2 3 2 0
E x x 3 2
Hope That Helps!
Thank you Ryan. I played it the other way and was like ok thats the nastiest sounding chord ever, thats obviously not right lol.
